Police arrested a Sissonville resident Wednesday after she passed out in a car parked at a restaurant, according to a criminal complaint.
Authorities said Megan Lycans, 22, seemed tired and disoriented in the parking lot at the Wendy's at 621 Washington St. W. After a failed sobriety test, Lycans said she smoked marijuana and used heroin laced with Xanax earlier in the morning, according to the complaint.
An officer searched Lycans and found a loaded 9-millimeter Kel-Tec pistol in her pocket. Police charged her for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a prohibited firearm. She remained in the South Central Regional Jail on Thursday afternoon in lieu of $10,000 bond, according to the state Regional Jail Authority's website.
