Police are searching for multiple suspects after a shooting left one man dead on Sunday night.
Jalil Myers, 20, suffered several gunshot wounds in the attack on Oakwood Road in Charleston, said Lt. Steve Cooper, chief of detectives for the Charleston Police Department.
The shooting happened at about 9:20 p.m. on Sunday. Myers died at the scene, Cooper said.
He said Myers lived on South Park Road, about 15 minutes from the shooting. Police say it's unclear why he was in the area.
