Kanawha County Public Library will opens its doors to share services and celebrate the holidays throughout December by hosting Holiday Open Houses among many of its branches. Visit the participating local branches for music, food, activities and a few special visitors stopping in for pictures.
Local band Qiet will perform at 9:40 a.m. on the Main Library plaza on Saturday, in anticipation of the Christmas Parade. Hear their blend of rock, jazz, punk and gypsy music as they play seasonal favorites to get everyone in the holiday mood. After the parade, drop inside for refreshments courtesy of The Friends of the Library Foundation of Kanawha County.
