The Kanawha County Commission is conducting two flood debris collection days on Friday and Saturday.
People affected by the summer flood can bring solid waste to Herbert Hoover High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, according to a news release.
Gas and propane tanks, paint, chemicals, motor oil and other hazardous materials will not be accepted. Tires, scrap metal and newer electronics will be recycled.
The county has collected over 17,000 tons of flood debris so far, according to the release.
The cleanup days will not take place again until spring.
