CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The issue of Sunday hunting is coming before Kanawha County officials this week.
The Planning Commission is holding a public hearing at 6 p.m. Wednesday to hear the views of county residents on a petition to place Sunday hunting in Kanawha County on the November ballot.
The County Commission says in a news release that Sunday hunting would be restricted to private property and would retire the landowner's consent.
The public hearing will be held at the Kanawha County Courthouse.
