Those driving through St. Albans on Saturday morning are asked to be aware of large groups of volunteers who will be out cleaning up roadways. The "Make St. Albans Shine" event will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Approximately 200 people will be out cleaning a two-mile stretch of MacCorkle Avenue, from the eastern side city limits sign through Roadside Park.

Volunteers will be wearing reflective vests, but organizers with the 25177 Foundation ask those in the area to be alert to help ensure the safety of those participating.
