One person was injured after a vehicle crashed into a school bus in eastern Kanawha County on Wednesday afternoon, dispatchers said.
The school bus, carrying 15 students, was struck by a vehicle at about 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 60 in Shrewsbury, according to Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers. The striking vehicle then went over a hillside and crashed into a house.
Two other vehicles were involved in the crash.
No students were injured in the incident.
Dispatchers said natural gas was leaking at the scene.
U.S. 60 was closed in both directions while emergency crews work at the scene. The road has since reopened.
