A tanker truck spilled between 100 and 150 gallons of gasoline in Nitro on Saturday.
A Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher said firefighters and other authorities responded to the spill around 3:30 p.m. at the Speedway gas station, near the intersection of First Avenue and 40th Street.
He said the spillage estimate has not been updated since the call came in.
As of 7 p.m., the dispatcher said first responders have left the scene and workers with the state Department of Environmental Protection and the Division of Highways have taken over.
