The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department and the Putnam County Health Department are offering walk-in vaccination clinics.
Kanawha County clinics are scheduled at the health department, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a news release. Putnam clinics are scheduled at the health department next week, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The news release said that "students entering school for the 2017-2018 school year are required to have up-to-date vaccinations in most cases before they will be allowed to attend classes."
Stephanie DeWees, director of clinic services, said Wednesdays are busy clinic days at the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department and encouraged those seeking vaccinations to visit the clinic on other days.
Those seeking vaccinations should bring all vaccination records.
