Two toastmasters clubs are offered for those who like public speaking or would like to become a better speaker in the area. One club meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Kanawha County Public Library's main branch in Charleston. The other club meets at noon on the first and third Thursday of each month at the South Charleston Public Library. Dale Wolfley, coordinator of the WVU Varsity Club, will be the speaker at the Kanawha Valley WVU Fan Club meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Harding's Restaurant beside Interstate 79, Exit 1. There will be free 2017 football schedule posters available.
The next regular meeting of the Kanawha Public Service District Board of Commissioners will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the District's Business office.
