Some statues on the grounds at the West Virginia Capitol Complex were cleaned and waxed Thursday. Catherine Hayes and Debora Rodrigues, both of Past Matters LLC of Baltimore, took on the tasks of cleaning the Mountaineer Soldier statue, the bust of Booker T. Washington, Stonewall Jackson and the female veterans memorial.
