At 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Santa officially will arrive for the season in Center Court at the Charleston Town Center. Santa will be escorted by Marvel's Iron Man, Ant Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and the Hulk.
The first 100 children in Santa's Jingle Bell Line in Center Court will receive a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament of either Iron Man or the Hulk. Children are invited to come to the event dressed as their favorite superheroes. Musical director Mark Scarpelli will direct Santa's Merry Chorus of Elves just before the arrival of the Marvel Super Heroes and Santa. The fun continues with a parade to Santa's Frosty Forest (Sears Court) for the first indoor snowfall of the season.
There will be free meet-and-greet sessions with the superheroes as they divide up among Macy's Court, JCPenney Court and the food court.
The Hulk will be at Picnic Place Food Court, Iron Man & Spider-Man will be at JCPenney Court, and Captain America and Ant Man will be at Macy's Court, offering a shield-making activity.
Guests at each Marvel Super Hero meet-and-greet can register for the chance to win a family four-pack of tickets plus merchandise to Marvel Universe Live! coming to the Charleston Civic Center Dec. 3-6. Twelve family four-packs will be given away. You do not need to be present to win.
