Friday's rainy weather dried up just in time for shoppers to enjoy Saturday's Old Colony Realtors East End Yard Sale. Around 10,000 people were expected to participate in the 27th annual event. Last year, 59 residents and 41 non-residents registered for the sale, which organizers say is the largest one-day community yard sale east of the Mississippi River. The sale is held each year during Mother's Day weekend.
Money raised from registration goes toward the East End Community Association.
