The Kanawha Trail Club will have a Mother's Day Ice Cream Reward hike at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Carriage Trail. Carpool from the parking lot at the corner of Ohio Avenue and Randolph Street, across from post office and regroup at Myrtle and Crawford Roads. Hike the Carriage Trail; stairs over the South Side Bridge, gentle climb on return up Carriage Trail for a total distance of about 4 miles. If you hike it, you consume zero calories at Ellen's Homemade Ice Cream shop.
The Rubberifics will host a rubber stamping activity from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 839 Chestnut St., South Charleston. Brenda Witt of Stampin' Up will provide instruction and materials to make two cards. Just bring adhesive. The cost for the activity is $5.
