One person was wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon on Charleston's West Side, dispatchers say.
The shooting was reported around 4:40 p.m. in an apartment on Delaware Avenue near the Five Corners intersection, a Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher said.
The victim was shot in the neck and taken to an area hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening injury, according to Lt. Steve Cooper, chief of detectives for Charleston police.
The Charleston Police Department is investigating.
