The school's art program has been saving special artwork throughout the year for the event, including a Grandma Moses inspired farmscape from first-graders, murals of the state Capitol in all seasons, and art inspired by the work of Vincent Van Gogh. The Fourth Grade Chorus performance is called “From the Inside Out” and explains the importance of good citizenship.

The chorus performance and school-wide art walk alternates from 12:15 to 1:20 p.m. until all scheduled classes have participated i both events. Students return to their classrooms at 1:25 p.m. for art awards and refreshments, both of which are sponsored by the Flinn PTA.
