The Aldi grocery store in Dunbar is holding a grand reopening ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The store, located at 434 12th St., closed in February as part of Aldi's push to remodel current stores. It expanded from 13,000 square feet to 18,000 square feet.
The store had a soft opening Tuesday when renovations finished.
The first 100 shoppers following the ceremony will each receive a "golden ticket" containing an Aldi gift card. The amount of each gift card varies. Customers can also sample Aldi products.
Aldi is a low-priced food store with a focus on its own brand of products. The Dunbar location is the second of five stores in the Tri-State area Aldi plans to remodel by the end of 2019, part of a nationwide $1.6 billion store remodeling plan.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
