The Charleston Area Alliance is seeking sponsors for its second annual downtown mini-golf course this summer.
Business sponsors will customize their own mini-golf holes and set them up on downtown sidewalks from June 24 to July 8.
The event provides both a free summer activity for residents as well as a draw to downtown businesses.
"Sponsoring a hole is a great way to market your business ... this opportunity helps create a lively and exciting downtown Charleston," according to a release from the Charleston Area Alliance.
Twenty holes are available. Sponsors must be members of Charleston Area Alliance.
The sponsorships cost $250 and include one unfurnished mini-golf platform to be delivered the week of May 10. The sponsor personalizes and decorates the platform with obstacles and materials that can withstand daily use.
The decoration can tie into the company's focus area or promote special projects and events, the release says. Hole signage is provided and will identify the sponsor.
Completed mini-golf holes will be picked up from sponsor businesses on June 22 and 23.
Players can bring their own putters and balls or borrow gear from participating businesses.
