Woman who died after Cross Lanes vehicle fire ID'd

Kanawha deputies have released the name of a woman killed after her vehicle caught fire because of a wreck in the Cross Lanes area Friday.

Brandi Leigh Hall, 33, of Charleston, died in the wreck in the area of the 4600 block of Washington Street West. Her vehicle left the road, struck a tree, overturned, landed in a creek and caught fire, said Kanawha Sheriff's Sgt. Sean Snuffer. Hall was able to make it out of the vehicle, but later died of her burn injuries at a hospital.

Deputies still are investigating the cause.
